Forest Management Ltd was formed in 1994 and specializes in forest consultancy, establishment, tending , harvesting and marketing in Canterbury, the West Coast and Otago.

The three directors and seven staff have extensive experience in all areas of the forest industry. Our work has included projects for TIMOs, SOEs, trusts, local and central government and private forest owners.

Tasman Forest Management Ltd was formed in 2002 when an opportunity was recognized in the top of the South Island. The five directors had worked together in the Forest Service and in other Forest corporates.

TFM hit the ground running with the first major contract being a large family trust requiring a full management service. This forest has grown to over 1200 ha and is still managed by ourselves.

Numerous other contracts and tenders were won and work was actively chased in the Marlborough Sounds where we have established the most experienced and capable operation in the region.

Working in these sensitive areas requires a high regard for the environment and good logistical management capabilities.

Formally Forest Asset Management, this company has been operating since 2003 and supplies logs into local mills in the Hawkes Bay and Southern North Island.

The business also exports logs from Wellington and Napier.
