The Forest Management Group is a group of three independent companies, based in Christchurch, New Zealand, who co-operate to market a pooled volume of logs. The Group comprises Forest Management Ltd, Tasman Forest Management Ltd and Forest Management (NI) Ltd. 

The three companies are linked by a common shareholding, with the directors of Forest Management Ltd being stakeholders in both Tasman Forest Management and Forest Management North Island.

This gives the group scale in all aspects of forestry.

Skills are also shared across the group giving accurate on the ground decision making.

TFM has many years experience in a wide range of forest systems and harvesting methods. The skills gained at this end of the cycle shapes the way we advise clients in the management and growing cycle.

Our strategy is to grow a quality product economically. The forest investment is sensitive to cost, but quality is paramount.

TFM is continually improving our technical capacity and tools, to offer the most efficient services possible. Currently we offer GPS and mapping technology, sonic testing of logs for customer requirements and robust forest measurement tools for timber appraisals.

Over the years we have built capacity, experience and skills in all aspects of the business and are now major forest managers in the region.
